The Hosokawa attrition milling service utilizes a high-speed shearing process for efficient particle size reduction:

• Heat-Sensitive Material Grinding: Perfect for materials sensitive to high temperatures.
• Precision Control: Adjustable stator and shearing plates regulate particle size.
• Fine Grinding Capabilities: Achieves fine grinding to D90 = 100 µm or finer.

In the milling process, material enters through the central inlet, where it undergoes size reduction between a stationary stator and a high-speed rotating shearing plate. The particle fineness is carefully controlled by adjusting the rotor speed, plate gap, and number of teeth on the plates.
