Hosokawa Micron in the US celebrated its’ 100th anniversary in 2023... With 1800 employees globally and 500 million in annual sales, Hosokawa is a major provider of engineered powder processing equipment and systems. Hosokawa Micron operates five major centers for engineering and sales in Japan, USA, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. An additional sales offices are located in India, China, Korea, Malaysia, France, Spain, and Mexico. Our product line is extensive and the company provides equipment and services for all major markets including Pharmaceuticals, Food, Chemicals, Minerals, Polymers and Plastics.

In addition to Engineering and manufacturing new equipment, Hosokawa offers custom processing services. Instead of selling equipment we process materials for our customers. Materials are shipped to one of our processing facilities where we offer multiple options for material processing, including size reduction, classification and blending. On site analysis capabilities allow us to ensure the we meet your particle size and particle characteristic requirements. Hosokawa Custom Processing Services is just one member of the Global Hosokawa group and operates from a new 50,000 square foot facility in Goldsboro North Carolina.  We established Hosokawa Custom Processing Services; to be able to provide greater assistance and support to our customers for their future business development and for customers who just wish to have Hosokawa process their materials for them. 

With 100 years of experience in designing and manufacturing powder processing equipment and systems, we are uniquely qualified to support our customers with application development and systems design. Our main Engineering and Manufacturing center is located in Summit New Jersey. All of our Senior Staff have more than twenty years of experience in the industry and we have more than 80 personnel involved with the design and manufacture of our various product line. Hosokawa has thousands of installations for applications in all industries and our equipment and systems have proven the test of time providing reliable service and excellent performance.

All feasibility testing for customers is done in Summit New Jersey. When customers are ready, we then process their materials at our new Goldsboro facility. The on-site Manager at HCPS has over 20 years of process and operational experience with our business in Summit New Jersey and will be relocating to Goldsboro to oversee the operation of the business there. Key operators will also relocate from Summit, however the rest of the facility employees will be hired and trained locally from Goldsboro and Wayne County. We have operated the processing business in Summit for more than fifteen years but with growing demand the new facility in Goldsboro will expand our services for even more customers.
